Crime Crackdown: 10 Year Old Fined For Lemonade Stand

The New York Parks Department struck a blow against major crime by giving a $50 fine to a 10 year old girl for operating a lemonade stand without a license. Read the story here.

In cracking down on this crime, they used 3 agents! Is it any wonder that kids grow up having less and less respect for law enforcement? Do you think that the people of Riverside Park will sleep easier at night knowing that the authorities have come down hard on this type of neighborhood crime? Suddenly, I'm feeling much better about my tax dollars at work . . .
